Mari Ullrick is dedicated to building strong, supportive communities where no one has to face colon health challenges alone. After her husband’s full colectomy, she saw firsthand the importance of knowledge sharing and early intervention in improving patient outcomes. With a background in entrepreneurship, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement, Mari applies her expertise in operations, fundraising, and donor development to expand PALTOWN’s reach and impact.
A lifelong adventurer, Mari is on a mission to run 50 half marathons in 50 states, using the challenge as an opportunity to explore new places and connect with people from all walks of life. An avid international traveler who speaks three languages, she thrives on forging relationships and learning from diverse perspectives. Beyond the road and the tarmac, she’s a mom to three teens and a rescue dog, finding joy in music, design, and gardening. A lifelong violinist and voracious reader (120+ books a year), Mari balances creativity with strategy, always seeking innovative ways to make a difference.
