Angela (Tolman) Shah, August 23, 1977 - November 20, 2024
Angela Lynette Shah passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in New York City, held tightly by her husband Ronak. He and their two beautiful children Victor and Diana miss her greatly and are joined by her parents, extended family and many friends. She was a thoughtful and caring person who was a light in the life of everyone she met.

Angela was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in November 2022. She had many tumors in her liver, and began an aggressive course of chemotherapy.
She led a full life through treatment, and found community, support and education through COLONTOWN. The courage of its members gave her strength.
She learned about the hepatic artery infusion pump and the potential of liver transplants for colorectal patients with liver metastases. This led her to move her treatment from MD Anderson to Memorial Sloan Kettering under the care of Dr. Connell. She became a candidate for transplant at Mount Sinai, which was done with the loving donation of a “world class ideal liver” from her superhero brother, Matt.

Angela and her family found support and connection in PALTOWN’s online community for colorectal cancer patients and caregivers, COLONTOWN. The family requests that donations be sent to PALTOWN to support its many programs for patients and caregivers.
