Anthony Siino, 6/3/74-5/1/23
Anthony had a youthful spirit and heart of gold. He loved to spend every minute with his son Kyle. They loved to visit water parks, go swimming, play video games, read books together and do everything that a Great Dad would do with a 6 year-old. Anthony was so dependable and loving. If you ever needed a hand, he was always there for you. To his many close friends, he was a Brother. Anthony had a big heart and always had a soft spot for animals in need – at one point they had 15 pets in their home. He loved to entertain and loved to cook. His favorite pastime was commanding the grill at Rutgers football tailgates. At just 48 years old, he was taken from us far too soon after a courageous battle with colon cancer.
Anthony was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer in January 2022, at the age of 47. He showed incredible determination and strength throughout his battle, never giving up and fighting until the very end. His unwavering spirit was a true testament to his character. Anthony continued working full-time up until just a few weeks up until his passing. While we all knew Anthony was in pain and suffering the side effects of this ugly battle, he never complained and maintained his upbeat disposition. Sadly, cancer took his life on May 1, 2023. Throughout his battle, the CCOLONTOWN online community provided an invaluable resource and community.
