In Memory of Dean Ringuette

Dean Ringuette 5/7/2024
Dean was diagnosed with Colon Cancer June 2020 at Stage 3C and the cancer returned Stage 4 on December 2022.I tried so hard and would have gone to the ends of the earth to find a way to keep him with all of us forever, but the cancer wouldn’t let up.
Dean left us peacefully, at home, surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 7th 2024.

I will never say that Dean “lost” his battle to cancer. Cancer cheated. Cancer didn’t play fair.
I am broken, lost, mad, devastated and I can’t say that I will ever be okay. No one can ever, ever prepare you for a loss like this.

I’m so grateful to have felt and known the most amazing love I could have ever imagined.
Even though we only had 15 years together, with so many crazy challenges, we still had an amazing life together.
He made me promise I would continue to live like we did together…Finding joy in the journey and taking things one day at a time. I am not really sure how to do that now— but maybe in time I will.
Dean had a way of making everyone feel welcome and special. He was friends with EVERYONE and loved SO genuinely and hard.I know he had such an effect on so many people.
His favorite song and lyrics we lived by the past 4 years, is “Til you Can’t” by Cody Johnson. I know he would want everyone to live how he did.
“…Chase the dreams, take the chance, say the I loves you’s, cause man you never know.”
We all sure gained the most amazing angel.
In lieu of flowers we are asking for anyone who would like to donate in Dean’s name to COLONTOWN, an amazing organization that has personally helped Dean and I and thousands of others who are specifically dealing with colon cancer. I do not know what I would have done these past 4 years without the resources and incredible support of all the people part of this organization. Dean was passionate about wanting to give back.
I promise to keep his legacy strong!
