Victor Liang was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2017, facing it with the same strength and optimism that defined his life.
Victor was a devoted husband and father whose love and encouragement never wavered, even during the most challenging moments.
After his diagnosis, Victor continued to embrace life fully, traveling the world and enjoying the sport he loved most: golf.
The golf course became his sanctuary during treatment, a place where his bright smile and warm spirit never faded. He and May explored every possible treatment option together, crossing continents in search of new hope and healing.
He actively promoted colorectal cancer awareness and championed the importance of early screening.
He was invited as a recognized survivor to play in Exact Sciences’ 2022 Bottoms Up Invitational, spotlighting both his journey and the need for awareness alongside celebrities and donors.
Through public speaking, personal conversations, and his own actions, Victor encouraged countless others to get tested.
Victor even played in the 2023 Cologuard Classic in Arizona to raise funds for cancer research, supporting Cologuard’s mission.
Victor passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him most, leaving behind a legacy of courage, compassion, and grace.
Victor and his family found support and connection in PALTOWN’s online community for colorectal cancer patients and caregivers, COLONTOWN. The family requests that donations be sent to PALTOWN to support its many programs for patients and caregivers.
