The PALTOWN Development Foundation Board of Directors welcomes Lindsay Sichta as our incoming Executive Director starting November 4, 2024. In this role she will be tasked with building and implementing the strategic vision for the continued growth of the organization through our focus on empowering colorectal cancer patients and caregivers via education and peer support, including the COLONTOWN community.
Lindsay comes to PALTOWN as a proven organization executive in educational leadership where she focused much of her time on system building and strategic development of grant-funded programs and services to support children and families navigating the early childhood system throughout the State of Michigan. She holds her Master’s Degree in Education and multiple certificates and endorsements focused on Educational Leadership. She has also chaired the Early Childhood Administrator’s Network (ECAN) for Intermediate School District leaders across the State.
After her husband’s colon cancer diagnosis in 2021, Lindsay joined COLONTOWN and began volunteering with the organization in the spring of 2024 as a neighborhood host and faculty member for our Empowered Patient Leader (EPL) program. She and her husband have one son and enjoy spending as much time as possible enjoying Michigan’s beautiful lakeshore. They love camping and taking their dogs out for hikes on the many nearby trails as well as sitting by the campfire and stargazing whenever possible.
